Mountain Meadow Wool has paired Cody sport weight yarn with Melanie Berg's Drachenfels pattern to create a fun project that can be knitted while traveling over the summer, or while waiting to pick up your child from sports practice. Drachenfels has wonderful stars and stripes feel to it, so we are knitting it in red, white, and blue, but we are also offering it in seasonal colors. Try our newest version "Tweeds" Includes 2 skeins of Flint Tweed, 2 skeins of natural cream and 2 skeins of 10% grey sport. It is an amazing color combination!

Designed by Melanie Berg. Melanie says “Stave off the chill wind with this cozy shawl, which pays homage to the dragon of lore with a slipped garter colorwork pattern that hints of scales. It’s worked in garter stitch from tip to edge, then neatly finished with I-cord bind-off. Asymmetrical increases create an elongated triangle shape.”
